Biographical notes  :

1938 Born in Malmedy (Belgium).
1954-1957 School of Applied Arts and Crafts of Maredsous (Belgium).
1957 Antoine de Vinck's ceramic studio, Kraainem (Belgium).
1958 National higher school of Architecture and décoratives art of La Cambre, Brussels
(Belgium), teacher Charles Leplae.
1958 Apprenticeship under the Anglo-Japanese master potter Bernard Leach, Saint Ives,
Cornwall (Great Britain).
1959-1961 Travelled across Africa (Congo, Rwanda-Burundi), assimilating traditional pottery
and architecture.
1961 Opened a workshop in Brussels (Belgium)
1965 Set up a big workshop-studio in Roux-Miroir (Belgium).
1973-1974 Two trips to Japan to meet the master potter Shoji Hamada.
1980-1990 Two travels to India
1988 Trip to the Yemen (local architecture)
1991 New sculpture studio in Eppe-Sauvage (France).
